The character of the renovated space stands on the rocks on which it is built and revealed by stripping the old painted walls. The existing mezzanine is omitted, highlighting the rock on its double height. Even the bathroom is glazed so as to emphasize it and allow natural light to penetrate. Wood shelves on black steel structure run all along the living wall, parquet and stone walls complete the warm chalet atmosphere enhanced by an ancient stone fireplace found out during the demolition phase of the project. The master bedroom opens to the mountains through an enlarged opening. At night, hidden spots underlines with its warm color vintage objects inherited by the owner from his parents & grand parents.
